Carbon Fibre Reinforced Plastics





Composite materials cut very quickly and cleanly using abrasive jet. These materials are widely used in aerospace and race car components. Predrilling is required prior to cutting internal holes in composites to ensure delamination doesn’t occur. We can predrill with a pneumatic drill, set up beside the cutting head.



Glass Reinforced Plastics





Fibreglass can be cut quickly and cleanly without hazardous dust or fumes by simply submerging the material during cutting.



Other Reinforced Plastics





Any fibre-reinforced material, including Kevlar reinforced personnel Armor, can be quickly and cleanly cut on the OMAX without hazardous dust or fumes.



ACM (Aluminium Composite Material)





ACM Signage material can be cut easily on the waterjet, giving a clean edge finish. The material cuts very fast but in some cases does require pre-drilling using our pneumatic drill mounted beside the cutting head.
